| Cardinall's Musick to perform Byrd at Stondon Massey.
Multi Gramophone Award winning choir Cardinall's Musick will be coming
to St Peter & St Paul Church Stondon Massey on the afternoon of
Sunday 2 September 2012 to perform Masses and Motets by William Byrd,
the village's great Elizabethan composer. The two concerts form part of
their nine-month Byrd Tour 2012, visiting venues both great and small
in celebration of the completion on disc of Byrd's entire Latin choral
output. We look forward to welcoming this internationally
recognised Choir and their director Andrew Carwood. For all the
information about their visit go to the dedicated website: William Byrd@Stondon. |

Profession of Faith. I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. |
